WORDS FROM SHAYKH 'ABDUL-'AZEEZ BIN BAAZ

'What has become common in this age, is that many of those who ascribe themselves to knowledge and calling to good, fall into belittling many of their brothers who are well-known daa'ees, and speaking against the honour of the students of knowledge and the daa'ees. This is done sometimes secretly in their circles, sometimes on cassettes which are then circulated amongst the people, or sometimes publicly mentioned in their gatherings in the mosques. And this matter opposes the command of Allaah and His Messenger from a number of angles ... So I sincerely advise those brothers who have fallen into slandering and maligning the daa'ees, that they should repent to Allaah, the Most High, for what they have written with their own hands, and what they have said with their own tongues; which may have been a cause for corrupting the hearts of some of the youths; filling their hearts with hatred and malice, and pre-occupying them away from acquiring beneficial knowledge and calling to Allaah, because of being pre-occupied with qeel and qaal (gossiping and rumour mongering); and with speech about this person and that person; and with hunting for the mistakes of people, and burdening them with this. Likewise, I sincerely advise them that they should redress whatever they have done, and declare themselves free from the likes of these actions, through writing: or methods other than this. They should remove whatever may have entered the minds and thoughts of those who listened to them, and they should take to doing those fruitful actions that will draw them closer to Allaah, and which will be of benefit to the worshippers. They should beware of being hasty in pronouncing takfeer, tafseeq or tabdee upon people, without the truth being explained, and without the proofs being established. The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said: "Whoseover says to his brother: O unbeliever then it will return to one of them. " The authenticity of this hadeeth has been agreed upon.

Eine Sache, die in diesem Alter sehr häuftig vorkommt, ist dass viele die sich dem Wissen zuschreiben und zum Guten rufen, ihre Brüder in einer herabwürdigenden Art welche gut bekannt als daa'is sind gegen die Ehre den Studenten des Wissens und den daa'is sprechen. Es wird versteckt in ihren Kreisen gemacht, manchmal auf Kassetten in deren Umlauf unter den Menschen oder manchmal öffentlich in deren Versammlungen in ihren Moscheen. Und diese Angelegenheit ist genau das Gegenteil von dem Befehl Allaahs (subhanahu wata ala) und einem seiner Gesandten von den Engeln. Also rate ich solchen Brüdern aufrichtig, die in solche Angelegenheiten gefallen sind, die die daa'is verleumdet und schlecht gemacht haben, bei Allaah (subhanahu wata ala) zu bereuen, den Höchsten, für das was sie mit ihren Händen geschrieben haben, und das was sie mit ihren eigenen Zungen gesagt haben; das ist ein Grund dass den Jugendlichen verderben ins Herz gegeben hat; das füllen des Herzens von Hass und Bosheit, und das entfernen vom Beschäftigen mit dem Erwerben vom nützlichem Wissen und das Rufen zu Allaah (subhanahu wata ala); die Beschäftigung mit qeel und qaal (Tratschen und Gerüchte erzählen); und das Sprechen über diese Person und diese Person; und das Jagen von den Fehler der Menschen und das Belasten damit. Beispielsweise rate ich ihnen aufrichtig, dass sie es wiedergutmachen sollten, von allem, was sie an falschem gemacht haben, und das freisprechen von dem was sie sagten, durch das Schreiben: oder andere als diese Methoden. Sie sollten auch alle Gedanken die sie hatten und allem dem sie zugehört haben entfernen und sie sollten dieses tun um Allaah (subhanahu wata ala) näher zu kommen und sie sollten den Nutzen von der Anbetung Allaahs herausziehen. Sie sollten sich davor hüten schnell den takfir tafsiq oder tabdi über Leute zu sprechen, ohne die Wahrheit mit Beweise über sie zu kennen. Der Prophet sallallāhu alaihi wa sallam sagte: Wenn ein Muslim zu seinem Bruder 'du Kafir' sagt, dann wird es zu jemanden von beiden zurückkehren. (die Echtheit dieses Hadithes ist bestätigt)
